From the information available, it is almost guaranteed that this Oil Temperature Indicator was intended for use on, or removed from, the world’s only CL-44 Guppy (Conroy Skymonster).

The date on the serviceability tag correlates to when Buffalo Airways operated this aircraft. They did not operate any other variant of the CL-44.
